"A compilation burned on a CD-R, nothing more nostalgic to immerse myself in a few decades of memories. It was around 1998, after being raised on rock by my father throughout my childhood, that rap entered my life. Since that day, I have seen it evolve against my will, it is clear that for it to survive, its sounds had to change over the generations. The annihilation of the physical format in favor of streaming has made its consumption excessive, like an all-you-can-eat buffet where quantity is favored, without educating one's palate to the flavors present in each dish. But as with any meal, when one lingers on each ingredient, whether one grew up with AKH's pen or PNL's autotuned voices, each recipe of the last 25 years has its share of gems, and it is when we look at the extent of the menu that we realize the infinite possibilities that this movement can still offer us."
